Advertising from publications, travel programs
In addition to providing information for tourists about Binh Duong tourism and travel programs on Binh Duong Tourist Information Website (www.dulichbinhduong.org.vn), provincial Tourism Promotion Center has diversified forms of propagation and advertising. In 2018, the center introduced tourism potential of the province at events: the 14th Ho Chi Minh Tourism Festival 2018, Hung King’s Death Anniversary - Hung Temple Festival 2018, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Sea Festival in 2018, ITE International Tourism Fair in 2018...
Nguyen Duc Minh, Director of provincial Tourism Promotion Center, said that in order to serve information needs of tourists, the center compiled, designed and printed publications “Du xuan Binh Duong”, Binh Duong tourism guide, Binh Duong ecological tourism, cuisine, sports, religion... serve information needs of tourists, who want to explore, learn about Binh Duong land and people. Accordingly, through the events, the center provided more than 15,000 publications of all kinds to visitors to meet the needs for Binh Duong tourist information of visitors.
This year, provincial Tourism Promotion Center also cooperated with press agencies to create specialized columns to enhance the development of provincial tourism industry. Specifically, the center provided tourist information and guided filming crew of Vietnam Television Station to tourist sites in the province to introduce Binh Duong tourism; worked with Binh Duong Radio and Television Station to promote Binh Duong tourism images on BTV1 channel; spread information about tourism destinations and Binh Duong tourism overview on Vietnam Tourism Magazine, Binh Duong Newspaper...
Promoting the role of Youth Union members
The role of Youth Union members in promoting provincial tourism is very necessary. Provincial tourism industry hosted a program named "Introducing provincial tourist attractions among Youth Union members". Through this program, youth members have become a propagator, tour guide to introduce and propagate tourism images of Binh Duong. Young people are an important force in encouraging tourists and people to form civilized and friendly behaviors in tourist zones and destinations; are volunteers to welcome and help visitors, participate in tourism events in the province.
Mr. Minh said that provincial Tourism Promotion Center paid much attention to the advertising of tourist attractions in Binh Duong province. For example, the program of introducing tourism destinations in the province among Youth Union members is an annual activity hosted by Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and provincial Youth Union to enhance cultural, sports and tourism activities among youth members and teenagers.
Le Minh Nhat, youth member of Di An town Police, said, in the integration context, youth union members played an important role on many fronts, including the participation in preserving and introducing culture, traditions, history, natural landscapes, tourist destinations of their localities. As a youth member of Binh Duong province, he has introduced traditions, culture, history, tourist destinations of the province in general and of Di An town in particular to tourists and friends through social networks, and become a tour guide every time when the province host tourist events or tourists want to find information about local tourists attractions.
