In 2016, provincial Trade Promotion Center in collaboration with businesses, industries’ associations attended 10 expos at home and abroad with 7 export contracts worth US$300million signed. The center also organized 6 business delegations to take part in the 2016 International Home Decoration Expo in Singapore; worked with provincial Mechanical Electrical Association to organize 4 booths at the 7th Vietnam-Cambodia Industries Expo in Cambodia.
Besides, the center held 3 market-days of “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas” to serve locals in Dau Tieng district, Tan UYen and Ben Cat towns on the occasion of the 2016 Tet (Lunar New Year) festival. The center also held 4 programs of Vietnamese goods at industrial parks and compounds in Di An and Thuan An towns.
It is expected that the center will further organize 6 market-days of Vietnamese goods in Tan Uyen town, districts of Dau Tieng, Phu Giao, Bau Bang and North Tan Uyen at locals’ demand for shopping on the 2017 Tet festival.
