The Southeastern Veterans Business Association (SVBA) has just held a conference to partially review its activities in TDM city.
The event was attended by Nguyen Dinh Truong, Vice-Chairman of the Vietnam Veterans Business Association (VVBS); Nguyen Van Loc; member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission and Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
Addressing the conference, Mr.Truong acknowledged achievements done by the SVBA over the past time while asking for members to boost solidarity, promoting their production-business activities. Clubs and associations also need to create favorable conditions for war veteran entrepreneurs, especially ones in need of help. They also need to associate their activities with emulation movements and campaigns, namely “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle”, “New-style rural construction”, “Smart city development”…
It is known that the SVBA has so far admitted more than 4,500 members. It has created advantageous conditions for members to develop their production-business activities with total revenue of VND12.46trillion. They have also paid more than VND1.2trillion for State budget; generated jobs for more than 48,000 laborers and got involved in social charity activities with more than VND14.8billion…
On this occasion, the VVBA awarded the emulation banners for the best units in emulation movements for the 2018-2019 period to Binh Duong provincial Veterans Business Association and Binh Phuoc provincial Veterans Business Club.
