In the first 6 months of 2022, the tax refund work was strictly controlled by provincial Tax Department, strengthening the responsibility of tax authorities in reviewing and processing tax refunds quickly. Accordingly, the province’s total number of dossiers with tax refund processed was 1,839 and the refunded tax amount was more than VND 10.74 trillion. Among them, there were 1,833 e-dossiers, accounting for 99.67% of total.
According to provincial Tax Department, the electronic tax refund has created favorable conditions for taxpayers, especially during the pandemic period. Electronic tax payment has also helped exchange and respond quickly to information between tax authorities and taxpayers, best minimize declaration errors while helping tax authorities control the progress of handling tax refund dossiers.
