Early December 2, Mr. Vo Van Cu, Director of Binh Duong Provincial Department of Trade and Industry has been working with the professional divisions for all aspect preparation for the opening day. According to reports, the preparation steps include: Decoration of the exhibition booths for provinces and businesses; delegation welcoming procedures; security, fire control, power supply, water and sanitation sectors in the fair ready to welcome visitors.
The organizers said that this is a large-scale expo with 588 booths of 264 companies in provinces and territories exhibiting their products. On exhibition is various commodities of foods, necessity, hight-tech farm produces, textile, mechanics, electronics, and electricity. In the last morning, Centre for Trade Promotion and Economic Information of the Department Trade and Industry has mobilized 100% provincial officers to prepare for a successful fair. The preparation of content, program briefings for trade promotion of the South in 2014, workshop on "Connection to promote effective trade promotion activities" was thoroughly prepared.Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Trinh, director of the Center for Trade Promotion & Economic Information said that this time expo was to assist businesses in and outside the province to introduce their products by promoting the advantages of the region.

Following up the fair, before the opening day, shops and streetside cafeterias near the center of Binh Duong New City have been more active. Many have prepared various commodities and stalls in response to the biggest fair ever held in Binh Duong New City.
