To spread and improve produce values for businesses, the local industrial promotion sector has displayed some products at fairs as well as sent some products to regional contests on rural industrial products. As a result, as many as 6 out 12 products won the regional rural industrial product title.
Shortcomings
According to Le Van Chi, director of the Industrial Promotion Center, aside from going with businesses, the work of industrial promotion remains shortcomings. Therefore, industrial promotion programs have yet to show their diversity. Scopes, objects and trades enjoying policies of industrial promotion remain limited.
The shortcomings’ reason includes shortage of manpower, much time for ratification and expense assistance, low capital source, etc.
In some districts such as Dau Tieng, Phu Giao, Di An, etc though policies of industrial promotion were launched, there are no registrations of industrial promotion program so far.
In addition, owing to difficulties of economy, industrial promotion projects can not be launched in spite of approvals.
In 2012, Binh Duong launched 12 industrial promotion projects with the total value of VND1,813mil. The locality held vocational training classes on timber processing and industrial garment for 800 laborers. 100% of learners of these classes have enjoyed stable jobs at businesses. In addition, the province trained jobs for 350 laborers of Ba Nhat Co.operative and Tuan Linh Company as well as launched a project of technical transfer for Que Phi Co.Ltd. with the supportive expense of VND70mil.
