The main reason is that many key construction projects, inter-regional transport projects with large investment capital are speeding up implementation progress to complete the annual plan, so the demand for transporting construction materials is increasing.
Passenger transport activities in the province reaches 80 million passengers over 10 months of 2024
Namely, revenue from transportation and warehousing activities in the province in October 2024 reached VND 3,661.2 billion. As being accumulated in the first 10 months of 2024, revenue from transportation and warehousing activities in the province reached 34,568.2 billion VND, an increase of 9.1% over the same period in 2023. Of which, passenger transport revenue reached VND 827.3 billion, up 9%; freight transport revenue reached VND 14,330.2 billion, up 9.6%; warehouse and transport support service revenue reached VND 19,410.7 billion, up 8.8% over the same period in 2023.
Passenger transport services in the province alone in October 2024 reached 8.5 million passengers, an increase of 0.9% over the previous month and 5.6% over the same period in 2023. Accumulated in the first 10 months of 2024, passenger transport in the province reached 80 million passengers, an increase of 8.5% over the same period in 2023.
