Revenue of quality measurement in 2018 reaches VND9 billion

 

In 2018, Office of Standardization, Metrology and Quality (provincial Department of Science and Technology) received 3,562 requests for quality measurement. Total number of checked measuring instruments was 45,000, reaching 147% compared to 2017 and reaching 102% of the year plan; total sample number was 672, reaching 134% of the year plan; Total revenue of quality measurement was VND9 billion, gaining 106% compared to 2017 and reaching 109.7% of the year plan.

In addition, in 2018, Office of Standardization, Metrology and Quality received and processed 914 dossiers (including 859 requests of state quality measure of imported goods, 55 dossiers processed through national web portal of 5 enterprises), 46 dossiers of conformity announcement and 40 dossiers of conformity announcement; exemption from state inspection of imported goods for 24 goods lots. The office also issued 28 permits for the transport of dangerous goods, including oxidants, organic oxide compounds (category 5) and corrosives (type 8) by road vehicles of 5 businesses.
