Early July 4, Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee received a delegation of Russia’s Rostech Corporation, led by Yuriy Makeev, adviser of the company’s Deputy General Director.

Mr.Yuriy Makeev said that the goal of the visit was to discuss issues on making rubber recultivation, continuing realizing Visorutex project, a joint venture between Vietnam and Russia signed from 1991 with a total area of more than 1,000 hectares in Binh Duong.
At the reception, Mr.Liem informed the delegation of the local socio-economic development while affirming the fine relationship between Vietnam and Russia. He also advocated Rostech Corporation to further implement the Visorutex joint venture project and suggested the corporation to have specific discussion on cooperation contents with Vietnam Rubber Group.
It is known that Rostech is one of Russia’s State-run large-scale corporations with more than 700 subsidiary companies, operating in the fields of industrial production, healthcare and weapon making. The corporation’s annual revenue is around US$25billion.
