A delegation of the central steering office of the new-style rural area building program, led by Tran Van Mon, Deputy Head of the office has just made a survey on the results of building new-style rural districts of Bau Bang, North Tan Uyen and Phu Giao. Accordingly, the delegation realized a field trip in some production facilities, socio-economic infrastructure facilities in 3 districts of Bau Bang, North Tan Uyen and Phu Giao, including the headquarters of Phuoc Sang communal People’s Committee, Phuoc Sang preschool, Phuoc Sang commune’s Cultural House, U&I Agricultural Joint Stock Company in An Thai commune in Phu Giao district; Tan Thanh market, the headquarters of Dat Cuoc communal People’s Committee, the chickens breeding model of Nguyen Van Binh with hi-tech application in Dat Cuoc commune’s Suoi Voi hamlet in North Tan Uyen district; Thanh Thuy Co.Ltd. in Long Nguyen commune, the headquarters of Tru Van Tho communal People’s Committee, Tru Van Tho communal Cultural House in Bau Bang district…

After 10 years of implementing the national target program on new-style rural area building, three districts Bau Bang, North Tan Uyen and Phu Giao have so far reached criteria of the program towards advanced ones. In general, these districts focused on mobilizing resources to construct socio-economic infrastructure systems. There are now 100% of rural roads in new-style rural communes of these districts covered by asphalt, facilitating the local people’s traveling.
Regarding agricultural production, these districts have zoned safe animal husbandry and concentrated fruit trees-growing areas with hi-tech application in association with well realizing policies to promote urban and hi-tech agricultural production. So far, the spiritual and material lives of the local people have been enhanced with the average income of between VND57.5million and VND60million per person per year. Noticeably, the new-style rural area building program in these districts had no debt in basic construction.
Further improving quality of criteria
At the working session, members of the delegation spoke highly of the efforts by the three districts in new-style rural construction while requiring them to pay more attention to organizing recreational activities in the community, making the local scenery cleaner and nicer, building water drainage systems…
Mr.Mon also asked for the three districts to develop models with hi-economic efficiency, uphold the role of people in keeping environmental hygiene. In addition, he suggested the province to approve relevant documents in order to submit them into the assessment council, proposing the Government to consider and recognize them as new-style rural districts in the soonest time.
On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr.Dung also thanked the delegation for its contributive ideas while saying that the province and districts will actively perfect infrastructure facilities, focus on improving the quality of criteria done, contributing to enhancing the spiritual and material lives of the local people.
