Rushing to prepare goods for Tet demands

According to Ministry of Industry and Trade, it is estimated that this year's Tet reserves would increase by about 10-12% compared to last year. Due to the high inventories of goods, many businesses and cooperatives are focusing on boosting production, consumer distribution units are finally preparing to stock up on goods to meet people's consumption needs on Tet holiday. In order to stabilize the price situation, prevent fraud, fake goods, and poor-quality goods, the market management industry has also stepped in to manage, check and control the market so that people can have a happy Tet.

The 2023 New Year and the Lunar New Year are only 20 days apart, so this year's consumption is almost concentrated at the same time, so it will be more difficult to stock up on goods. Furthermore, global trade continues to be under pressure due to strategic competition among major countries, high inflation, narrow import and export markets, and adverse developments in the Covid-19 pandemic in some countries had a strong impact on the domestic commodity market. Anticipating possible difficulties, competent agencies are implementing many solutions to cope with market fluctuations.

One of the important solutions implemented is to take the initiative in the supply of domestic goods to stabilize the Tet goods market. For processed goods, businesses increased production, supply enough sources of goods according to signed contracts, and at the same time stock up raw materials to be able to increase the quantity of goods to the market when required. For fresh food and fruits for Tet, cooperatives, business production and animal husbandry households are focusing on taking care of livestock and plants to supply the Tet market. According to the forecast of the province's agriculture - rural development industry, this year's Tet holiday, cooperatives, business production and animal husbandry households in the province would prepare an abundant supply, enough to meet market demand.

The supply of goods is abundant, but if there is a lack of connection, the market may still fall into a state of scarcity and increase prices. To solve this problem, production and distribution units in the province have also met and signed contracts to create consumption outputs for domestic goods. Along with their own capital, wholesalers distributing essential goods during Tet are also strengthened with capital by the industry trade industry to reserve enough goods. Tet is the occasion when fake goods and poor-quality goods can creep into the market. In order for people to be able to buy quality goods, ensure hygiene and safety, the market management force also takes action to manage, check and control the origin of goods and prices.

Although there are certain difficulties compared to last year's Tet, but with the involvement of many industries, it is believed that this year's Tet commodity market will not have any fluctuations, contributing to helping people have a warm, cheerful Tet festival.
