Sai Gon Brewery and Beverage Co.(Sabeco)’s total output of beer consumed reached a record of 1bln liters of beer in 2010, marking an important milestone on the way of becoming the country’s top beverage corporation. Meanwhile, Sabeco Mien Dong, a subsidiary of Sabeco last year also sold more than 112mln liters of various beer, a year-on-year increase of 120%.
During the trading process, Sabeco Mien Dong has focused on developing its distribution channel via many activities. Sabeco Mien Dong has also launched a promotion program worth more than VND22bln as gratefulness to clients… In 2011, Sabeco Mien Dong will make a lot of sales support programs for its agents, especially give priority to those of class 2. These agents will be also prioritized for other activities of the company.
Sabeco Mien Dong has also actively got involved in social charity activities for sake of the community. In 2009, Sabeco Mien Dong provided VND258mln as relief aid to flood-hit people in the central region. In 2010, the company also donated VND25mln to Ba Ria-Vung Tau province’s Con Dao district for building a computer room for pupils; provided VND130mln as relief aid to flood-hit people in the central and northern regions; donated 5 gratitude houses to privileged families in the eastern region.
It is estimated that Sabeco Mien Dong spent more than VND1.2bln on social charity activities between 2006 and 2010. The company’s directorate, trade union and distributors have also regularly offered help to company staff with hard-extremely circumstances…

The average income of the company’s staff was VND7.5mln per capita per month in 2008; VND8mln per capita per month in 2009 and VND 9mln per capita per month in 2010.
