Learning tied to practicing, training associated with the needs and development of society, which is the goal of universities, colleges, and junior colleges in the current period. It not only helps learners to adapt to their jobs right after graduation, but also increases prestige of the school when it comes to students' output.
Joining hands
Educational institutions have determined the importance of training, maintained the teaching, training and learning efficiency; renovated the content of curriculums, training programs, adjusted the program to meet enterprise’s recruitment needs, personnel needs of the province.

Students of Thu Dau Mot University regularly practice their lessons.
In recent time, the co-operation between schools and businesses in training has been clearer. There are many cooperation forms between the two parties; the most popular is to send students to enterprises to practice, familiarize themselves with their future work. In addition, schools have also invited businesses to give advices to students on necessary skills, working style to meet job requirements. If the relationship is tight, it will benefit the two sides and increase employment opportunities for students. The schools are able to solve the output for students after graduation, while enterprises recruit qualified candidates.
Le Nhat Nam, Deputy Director of Department of Education and Training, assessed that educational institutions had strengthened links with agencies and businesses to review their training programs in the direction to come closer to employer’s needs. This linkage is a good condition for students to practice and work after graduation, step by step improve training goals to meet social needs, narrowing the gap between schools and enterprises. The department also collaborated with universities, colleges, vocational training centers and enterprises in the province to organize a workshop " training to meet social needs", thereby built Triple Helix model in the training and supply of skilled labor resources to meet the needs of enterprises.
Students are in contact with the reality
The relationship between schools and businesses has been closer, thus students have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with real works. In their training programs, educational institutions are seeking to strengthen the relationship with enterprises to increase practice time for students.
Binh Duong University of Economics – Technology has established relationships with more than 100 enterprises, thereby the university has oriented their training programs towards application, and adjusted training content. Through these relationships, the university is aware of the fluctuation of labor market demand, then adjust the training plan to meet practical needs of the society. From this activity, the ratio of employed graduates reached 91.5% (university) and 92.18% (college).
To Thu Dau Mot University, this activity has been also promoted. In addition to their major, students are also cultivated in foreign languages, information technology, social skills, professional skills, contributing to meet output standards of learning needs of the society. Training contents are updated to keep pace with advanced programs and forecasts of labor market demand; Output standards ensure educational quality standards, national standards...
Educational institutions and enterprises cannot be separated in training activities, because the schools provide enterprises with human resources owning professional skills. Enterprises want to have high-quality staff without re-training, should closely link with the schools. However, now students’ internship and practice at enterprises still have certain difficulties. Many students cannot find places to practice, especially access to large enterprises. Therefore, schools and businesses need to have strong handshakes, so that the school could build appropriate training programs meeting the requirements of high quality labor force.
