In addition, province-based breeding farmsteads have applied cold-house systems in the models of breeding chickens and pigs, helping limit the infection of diseases and environmental pollution. They have also learnt to develop automobile feeding troughs, bringing high production efficiency.
The modes of growing vegetable sprouts or growing vegetables under water culture are also exemplary role models in application of sci-tech advancements in agricultural production.
Noticeably, many farmers, namely Nguyen Van Long in Ben Cat district’s Lai Uyen commune, Nguyen Van Dep in Ben Cat district’s Phu An commune, have researched and created good initiatives in agricultural production, bringing high economic efficiency.
However, sci-tech application in agricultural production has still faced shortcomings for change. It requires that farmers must have big capital, high determination and passion.
Tran Van Phan, the owner of a fruit tree farmstead in Tru Van Tho commune said that farmers need to get access to preferential loans to be able to bravely apply sci-tech advancements in production and expand production.
It is thought that timely support policies and orientations are needed to promote the application of sci-tech advancements in agricultural production, contributing to raising farmers’ income.
