On August 19, Phu Giao District People's Committee coordinated with Undong Center for Rural Development - Saemaul, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City National University to hold a conference on "Development of high-tech agricultural tourism in the direction of smart villages in Phu Giao district”.
The conference gathered many leaders, experts, researchers, businesses inside and outside the province to discuss the development of high-tech agricultural tourism in the direction of smart villages combined with agricultural development, farmers and rural areas in parallel with the new rural construction. At the conference, the delegates straightly discussed and contributed key ideas around the topic.
Nguyen Thi My Hang, Secretary of Phu Giao District Party Committee said: “The conference aims to assert the potential and offer effective plans, solutions for Phu Giao district to formulate policies to develop high-tech agricultural tourism associated with smart villages. Accordingly, the participants analyzed and clarified many issues from theory to potential practice as well as the locality and uniqueness of tourism products in the home district. The opinions at the conference are the basis for Phu Giao to find an appropriate model of high-tech agricultural tourism for development and replication, accomplish the goal of building an exemplary new rural area, move towards a smart village”.
This was one activity in the series of event "Announcing the protection of collective trademarks of oranges, grapefruits and pepper in Phu Giao district", which took place in 3 days from August 17 to 19.
