On January 10, Binh Duong Water-Environment Joint Stock Company (JSC) held a ceremony to inaugurate the second phase of the Binh Duong waste treatment complex in Ben Cat town’s Chanh Phu Hoa ward.
Attending the event were Nguyen Minh Triet, former State President; Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly delegation; Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.
Since its inception of 2004, the complex has well fulfilled its entrusted tasks, thanks to having right orientations and good preparations. Many investment items have also upheld their efficiency, step by step perfecting a task of collecting and recycling products, creating useful ones like burning-free bricks, organic compost fertilizer...
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr.Liem praised achievements done by the staff of the JSC while thanking international donors, central sectors, ministries and people for supporting the project. He also suggested that the JSC needs to strengthen propaganda work, raising public awareness of keeping environmental hygiene and well classifying waste classification at source.
