On 1 Mar, at Provincial Administrative Center, Tran Thanh Liem, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, chaired an online conference with districts, towns and cities on the summarized content of public investment in 2018 and duties in 2019.
Reports at the conference showed that in 2018 the implementation and disbursement of the province had had positive changes, with a total of 1471 approved packages of contractor selection, total executed volume until 31 Dec 2018 was VND 7,003,165 million, reaching 87.7% of the target; total disbursement value until 31 Jan 2019 reached 85.0% target; 55 projects were completed and put into use, contributing to accelerating socio-economic growth and ensuring local social security. In particular, there were localities with high volume and disbursement rates such as Dau Tieng, Bau Bang, Phu Giao and Thuan An. Speaking at the conference, Mr. Liem asked all levels, sectors and localities to thoroughly understand and implement Resolution 01/2019 of the Government and the 2019 investment plan approved by Provincial People's Committee. At the same time, provincial departments, branches and localities needed to focus on settlement of land compensation and clearance in order to soon hand over lands to investors; review carefully regulations and implement well. Regarding difficulties and problems, investors should have timely documents and submit to Provincial People's Committee for settlement and ensure the completion of the public investment plan in 2019.
