On August 20, a signing ceremony of comprehensive cooperation agreement between Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (Vietinbank) and Binh Duong Water - Environment Joint Stock Company (Biwase) was held at Becamex Hotel. Attending the meeting were Dang Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Hoang Dung, Deputy General Director of Vietinbank.

The cooperation between Vietinbank and Biwase has formed and developed for over 20 years. Vietinbank is currently providing Biwase with total credit of over VND 600 billion. It is expected that by 2025 Biwase would invest about VND 4,000 billion, of which loan demand would be about VND 3,000 billion. Biwase has a BWE stock code, achieves growth rate of over 20% per year. Biwase's main activity is to supply clean water with a capacity of 450,000m3 / day and night, and is expanding its factory in Chon Thanh district (Binh Phuoc province) to supply Becamex Binh Phuoc industrial and urban area and its vicinity. Binh Duong waste treatment complex each day handles more than 2,500 tons, is ranked in the top 5 provinces and cities with large-scale, best, and modern treatment technology of the whole country. Waste after treatment is reclaimed and recycled into many useful products, such as electricity, fertilizers, construction materials. In 2019, Biwase was selected by Forbes Magazine as one of the 50 most efficient companies in Vietnam.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Hung congratulated the cooperation between the two units. This will contribute to ensuring social security and the common development of the province. Biwase is one of the few successful reputable businesses in the field of environmental treatment. The comprehensive cooperation will bring the best benefits to customers and contribute to the success in building e-Government and developing Binh Duong Smart City.
