Mr. Kho Ngee Seng Roy highly appreciated the dynamic development and investment environment of Binh Duong province and emphasized that Singapore is one of the longest-term partners of Binh Duong province. Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Parks (VSIP) are the clearest symbol of the successful and long-term cooperation of the two countries. “We are very proud of the achievements done by Binh Duong province as well as the success of VSIP and believe that the relationship between Vietnam and Singapore will reach new heights and Binh Duong will obtain more prosperous and sustainable development in the future", he emphasized.
At the reception, Mr. Dung said that over the past 27 years, VSIP Joint Venture was a successful economic cooperation project between economic partners and became a good symbol of friendship and cooperation between the two countries Vietnam - Singapore. To date, VSIP Joint Venture has successfully built 11 industrial - urban - service parks under the VSIP brand in 8 provinces and cities across the country. Among them, 3 have been developed in Binh Duong province. Singapore currently ranks third among 65 countries and territories making investment in Binh Duong with 301 projects capitalized at US$ 5.52 billion. Singaporean enterprises have greatly contributed to the local development.
Mr. Dung thanked the support and positive contributions of the Singaporean Consul General in HCM city over the past time while hoping that the cooperative relationship between Binh Duong and its Singapore partner will continue developing, opening up many opportunities and fields for further cooperation, especially in the fields of supply chain, logistics, green economy and digital economy.
