Fourteen Vietnamese enterprises participated in the International Furniture Fair Singapore 2016 (IFFS 2016), including six Binh Duong enterprises: Ba Nhat rattan bamboo cooperative; Tu Bon Lacquer Company, Thanh Binh Le Company, Dinh Hoa Lacquer Company, Thuy Van Lacquer Company, Thanh Binh Tu Phuong Lacquer Company. This was the first time that Binh Duong enterprises joined an international exhibition.
Despite many difficulties at the first time, provincial enterprises actively prepared, arranged, and displayed their products…At this exhibition, domestic and Binh Duong province enterprises introduced their characterized products, like: rattan - bamboo - leaves, boxes, lacquer paintings, lacquer décor with attractive, impressive colors. During the exhibition, many customers visited Binh Duong booths and discussed quantity, price and shipping costs with enterprises.
In the framework of IFFS 2016, Vietnam Trade Office in Singapore had a meeting with the Binh Duong delegation at Vietnam Embassy. At the meeting, Vietnam Trade Office in Singapore appreciated the efforts of Binh Duong handicraft enterprises to participate in this exhibition; and affirmed that Vietnam Trade Office in Singapore was always ready to support enterprises in trading and introducing products at Singaporean market.
Pham Thanh Dung, Director of Trade Promotion Center under provincial Department of Industry and Trade, said provincial enterprises hoped that Vietnam Trade Office in Singapore would help in searching, confirming information of business partners in Singapore; and some cases of labels and goods origin from Singapore…
