Early March 26, Becamex IDCand Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East (NTT East) from Japan officially signed their memorandum to implement Binh Duong Smart City. Attending the signing ceremony was Tran Van Nam, member of Central Committee of CPV and Secretary of Provincial Party Committee and Head of Provincial NA Delegation, Tran Thanh Liem, the Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, Nguyen Van Hung, the General Director of Becamex IDC, Yamamura Masayuki, the President of NTT East, his deputy, and General Director of NTT Vietnam.

At the ceremony, both parties have signed memorandum, in coordination with VNTT – a subsidiary of Becamex IDC, to supply high quality services of telecommunication and information technologies to customers in industrial parks and urban areas invested by Becamex IDC, VSIP Joint Venture, and in provinces and cities nationwide. Accordingly, HR training, technology transferring to operation of telecommunication and information of VNTT while implementing measures to improve quality of service supply to customers, public wifi feasibility consideration for Binh Duong New City and other areas as well as the second data center in Binh Duong to service industry and services in the next stage.

Addressing the ceremony, Tran Thanh Liem congratulations on Becamex IDC and NTT East for becoming partners in constructing Binh Duong Smart City as a legal basis for them to coordinate direction, framework, and infrastructure for multifaceted connection servicing the formation of Binh Duong Smart City. He requested them to accelerate the planning and specific roadmaps to implement the agreements in effective manner and duly with local reality of Binh Duong.
