Many SMEs still lacking capital seriously
As of late 2010, the whole province had 1,712 SMEs getting loans with the total outstanding loan of nearly VND 8.03trillion, accounting for 17% of the total outstanding loan of the province-based credit organizations.
Thus, there was 15.3% of the total number of the province-based SMEs approaching to capital sources.
Mai Huu Tin, a NA deputy and CEO of U&I Investment Joint Stock Company said that SMEs have greatly contributed to generating jobs for laborers. They are facing difficulties, especially the lack of capital sources for their production and trading activities. If there are not positive measures to support them, it is very hard for them to continue existing and developing in the current context.
