Gifts presented to poor children
A delegation of leaders of TDM town, on May 28, visited and presented gifts to poor children at the town-based preschools on the occasion of International Children’s Day.

The Management Board of Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park and the Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture Company jointly held the 10th VSIP charity day on May 26 and 27.
Program of “Hope for children” held
On May 25, Que Huong Charity Center (photo) and provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients co-held an art performance program entitled “Hope for children” for 1,000 orphans and disable children living at the centers and in other neighboring localities on the occasion of International Children’s Day.
“Binh Duong young workers and career” seminar opened
At the seminar, leaders of some agencies, vocational schools, businesses and laborers presented ideas and petitions relating to care of young workers’ spiritual and materials’ life, youths’ aspirations on occupation and job and so on.
ILO to continue employment support
A 2012-2016 programme of co-operation between Vietnam and the International Labour Organisation (ILO) was signed in a ceremony held in Hanoi on May 25.
Market-day for young workers
At 2 p.m, visitors and shoppers who are young workers flocked to a market-day for young workers at Hoi Nghia secondary school in Tan Uyen district. There were many discount items and promotional programs for them. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy, a rubber worker, said “We often go to sale off shops to select products comfortably”.
Measures for improving quality of sub-societies for young workers
Attracting young workers to join in sub-societies and youth sub-unions is a big problem but with enthusiasm and dedication, the problem will be a simple one.
Singing contest for young worked to kick off
Thuan An town’s Youth Federation will organize a singing contest for young workers at T&H coffee shop in Binh Hoa ward on May 26.
