Early March 1, Dau Tieng district’s Youth Union in collaboration with Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co.Ltd. organized a ceremony to start the local youth work in celebration of the Volunteer Youth Year 2014 at plot 97, Tan Dinh hamlet, Minh Tan commune, aiming to uphold the volunteer role of the local youth in socio-economic development.

In the recent period, vocational training for rural laborers and demobees is very essential, helping them enjoy stable job and income and creating breakthrough in implementing the national goal program on poverty reduction and employment. Therefore, the project of vocational training for rural laborers has opened opportunities for laborers to approach programs on vocational training. Until now, the project has showed encouraging changes on rural laborers’ awareness on vocational learning.

Unlike previous years, the labor market in Binh Duong after the 2014 traditional Tet (Lunar New Year) festival has remained stable with positive signs. Many enterprises have announced to recruit laborers to satisfy their production and business demand. Binh Duong-based Viettel branch’s center in Phu Giao district (Viettel Phu Giao), on February 24, coordinated with the managing board of Nguyen Hue high school to donate three bicycles worth VND2mln each to poor-but-excellent pupil. This was part of the program of “Viettel for the sake of the community”. 

TDM city’s Red Cross Society and its affiliates has actively responded to the campaign of “Each organization, individual should stick to a humanitarian address” launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society in association with making charitable programs in according with Uncle Ho’s teachings, thereby taking care of people with difficulties, helping them stabilize their lives and rise up to integrate into the community.

Over the past five years, Dau Tieng district’s Vocational Training Center teamed up with the local functional agencies to organize 79 vocational training classes for 1,822 learners who are demobees, members of the Youth Union and other mass organizations.

Could you tell about goal of the local program of improving quality of manpower in the coming time?

On the development momentum, province-based enterprises have expanded their production and business scale, creating a lot of social products…Hence, vocational training in association with labor demand has also got more opportunities for development. Giving mechanical training to rural laborers at Di An Vocational Junior College

In the implementation of the project on “Vocational training for rural laborers” under the Decision No.1956/QD-TTg of Prime Minister of Government, Tan Uyen district last year expanded its vocational training and job creation network, teamed up with the local functional agencies to organize 6 vocational training classes for 140 rural laborers. Among them, there were one farming class and five non-agricultural classes.

In addition, the department in cooperation with Thu Dau Mot city, Thuan An and Di An towns held a conference to launch the Government’s Decree No.158/2013/ND-CP dated Nov. 12, 2013 on fining administrative violations relating to areas of culture, sport, tourism and advertisement.
