From 1998-1999, the company received 782 ha of protective forest land at the eastern of Cau Mount. in Dinh Thanh commune, Dau Tieng district to plant and protect forests. Aside from natural forest areas, the company has so far planted 248.4ha of forest. At the working session, Nguyen Van Hy, director of the company said that despite of shortage of money, the company is ready to hand forest areas over local authorities for the sake of forest protection and tourism development.

During the recent congress of the association, Mr Pham Truong Tho, deputy President of the Association, said that the province would continue to master exact information about AO victims, especially those in poor families in order to assist them promptly based on the State policies.

In the first half of 2013, Phu Giao district’s Veterans’ Association continued effectively maintaining saving and loan-rotating groups with more than VND 580mln, offering help to 55 members and  disbursed more than VND2.6bln in loan from its fund for 224 members to develop home based business.

Provincial Women’s Unions at all levels, since early this year, mobilized members and donors to build 23 houses of compassion worth VND956mln for poor women while upgrading 3 others with total expense of VND41mln.
