Provincial People's Committee has issued a document announcing the results of Public Administration and Performance Index (PAPI) in 2017 and measures to improve the index in the coming years. According to the results, Binh Duong province got 33.49/60 (reaching 55.81%), in the lowest group. The gap between Binh Duong and the locality with the highest score was 6.04 points, accounting for 18.03%.
In order to improve the PAPI in the coming years, provincial People's Committee asked provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to collaborate with departments, agencies, sectors; provincial People's Committee Office, Provincial Inspectorate, People's Committees of communes, wards, townships, districts, and cities to effectively implement Administrative procedure reform Master Program under Resolution 30c / NQ-CP dated 8 Nov 2011 of the Government, associated with raising awareness and determination in actions of the authorities.
In addition, the units implement uniformly Administrative procedure reform plan of Binh Duong province in the period of 2016-2020, in association with the establishment of friendly administration, friendly office under the direction of provincial Party Committee, provincial People's Committee; develop a democratic, clean, effective, efficient administration based on the improvement of the performance at all levels, especially the grassroots in serving the people; strictly implement solutions and specific tasks of each agency, unit and locality.
