Strengthening support for SMEs

Provincial People's Committee has recently issued the Plan No. 4895/KH-UBND on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in 2024. Accordingly, the subjects eligible for support include enterprises established, organized, and operating under the law on enterprises and meeting the government's criteria for identifying SMEs; business households with registered business operations and demand making transition into enterprises within the province; agencies, organizations and individuals involved in supporting SMEs.

SMEs will receive support in consulting and purchasing digital transformation solutions, collaborating on research and technology development while getting assistance in improving technological capacity, connecting to markets, developing their brands and conducting trial production procedures. Startup businesses with creation and participation in industries’ linkage compounds will be guided on procedures for interest rate support when borrowing capital from financial institutions.

Departments and sectors will enhance the dissemination of information on support programs for SMEs; guide enterprises in accessing the networks of consultants in fields such as human resources, finance and business management; organize training courses on business startup and management as well as vocational training for workers; support businesses transitioning from household operations and innovative startup businesses.
