Leaders of Tan Uyen town tax department said in 2019, the department continued to ensure good performance of state budget collection tasks, striving to implement the highest level of 2019 estimates of the provincial People's Committee and the People's Council commune and Tax Department. Besides, the department will well implement the anti-corruption program, practice thrift against wastefulness in tax authorities; implement new tax policies, amend and supplement; well implement the process of reforming the modernization of the tax branch according to the superior plan.
In 2018, the total revenue in Tan Uyen town was 2,066 billion VND 206 million, reaching 138% of the plan of the township People's Council, increasing by 17% compared to 2017. Among these, the direct provincial Tax Department managing and collecting VND 1,350 billion, VND 969 million, reaching 135% of the plan assigned by the Tax Department, increasing 26% compared to 2017. The reason for the increase in tax collection is the sudden increase in revenue from land rent. Along with that, last year, new tax policies, additional amendments issued have been deployed promptly by enterprises to businesses and business households in the area. The administrative procedure reform, maintaining the application of quality management system ISO 9001: 2008 in tax administration has also been implemented well, thereby creating favorable conditions for taxpayers to implement my obligation.
