Giang Manh Tuan born in 1982 in Phu Hoa ward, Thu Dau Mot city rents land in Hiep Thanh and Phu My wards to plant hydroponic vegetables. Visiting his hydroponic vegetable garden, every one admires his work.

Graduated from College of Food Industry in 2000, he worked at Binh Duong Environment and Water Supply Company. In 2009, he studied at Sai Gon Technology University and worked at Vina Acecook Vietnam Company.
After witnessing many cases of food poisoning caused by unsafe foodstuffs, he decided to mull over planting hydroponic vegetables. This is a new model, applying high technology into production and brings clean food source for people.
In the first period of planting hydroponic vegetables, he faced many difficulties. Despite his parents' opposition, he managed to self-study about production process of planting hydroponic vegetables.
At present, after 3 years, he maintains his production, researches processing and preservation of vegetables to offer for clients. In addition, he seeks out ways to increase productivity for his products. As a result, he gains success on planting hydroponic vegetables by vertical pillars.
He now possesses a nearly 1,500sqm vegetable garden with main vegetables such as cabbage, golden nugget squash, cucumber, eggplant, tomato and so on. He does not use plant protection drug and often catches worms without using pesticides.
His products ensure good quality and more and more clients buy his vegetables. Many supermarkets and traders arrive at his vegetable garden to book orders but he can not meet their orders.
At present, he enjoys an income of VND30 - 40mil per month. In addition, he in cooperation with the provincial department of Science and Technology transfers technique to 4 households in My Phuoc wards, 2 households in Di An and Thuan An towns and simultaneously launches at some other places.
More importantly, his vegetable garden places jobs for nearly 30 laborers with the income of VND3.5-4mil per month. Aside from the present vegetable garden, he is researching model of planting flowers.
With his ambition and enthusiasm, Tuan produces clean foodstuff with competitive prices for the market.
