Ho Van Binh, Vice-Director of provincial DoIT said that provincial DoIT will further carry out a project on trade-services development to 2020. Accordingly, the sector will focus on perfecting infrastructure facilities of markets as planned; effectively tap newly-built markets; continue accelerating administrative procedures; create favorable conditions for people to get access to capital sources for production expansion; attach special importance to fostering hi-tech services…
Regarding solutions to stabilize the market, creating a solid foundation for increasing the local retail value, provincial DoIT has issued a document asking for enterprises to set up plans, forecast purchasing power in the province at year-end. Provincial DoIT has also encouraged new businesses in provincial market price stabilization program to further work with producers to ensure supply of essential commodities like rice, salt, sugar…for people on the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) festival.
Representatives of province-based retailers, namely Co.opMart, Big C, Lotte…said that this year’s purchasing power in the province will be higher than that of the previous year. This is because the province’s economy has continued reaching stable growth and the lives of locals have continued being improved.
With a policy of mobilizing units and enterprises to take part in provincial market price stabilization program, locals may feel secure when buying commodities at year-end because of stable prices.
