After five years of implementing the Project on “Further improving the operational effectiveness of provincial Support Fund for Farmers in the 2016-2020 period”, the city’s Farmers ‘Association and its branches reached positive results, contributing to the local socio-economic development. The association also made efforts in developing its support fund for farmers.
It is known that as of late May, 2020, the city’s Support Fund for Farmers amounted to more than VND12.4million. Since 2016, the fund and its branches have provided nearly 80 projects with more than VND23billion from 980 households.
Nguyen Thuy Minh Chi, Chairwoman of Thuan An city’s Farmers ‘Association said that over the past years, the association’s fund upheld its efficiency, helping farmers get conditions for economic development.
