VSIP receives certificate ISO 14001: 2004.
Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) just received a certificate of ISO 14001:2004, taking it into the first IP getting the certificate in Vietnam.Policies of quality and environment
Built in 1996, VSIP is a cooperative project between Vietnamese and Singaporean Governments. Among 180 Ips in Vietnam, VSIP has been named "Best industrial developer in 2008" by UK's Euromoney Liquid Real Estate magazine.
VSIP’s goal is to take care for clients and offer for them quality services. VSIP considers clients as partners and helps them get success in business. VSIP pledges to protect environment and obey regulations on environment.
VSIP gets ISO 14001: 2004
VSIP officially launched program of applying system on environmental management in line with the standard of ISO 14001:2004 in Dec. 2009. The system has helped VSIP launch policies of environmental management, set up goals on environment in every period of development. VSIP Joint Venture Company general director Nguyen Phu Thinh, said VSIP has applied environmental management system exactly and closely from management and effective use of power, water to category of settlement of wastes in line with the Vietnamese and int’l standards.
Besides, green areas in the VSIP have been completed and maintained according to proper rate to create a harmonic scene in the entire IP. Especially, VSIP has equipped means, facilities adequately as well as trained human resources methodically for urgent situations.
The above efforts brought VSIP the Green Technology Award. VSIP Joint Venture Company believes that getting the certificate ISO 14001: 2004 and Green Technology Award will be its strong commitment on environmental protection, contributing to build green industrial value and sustainable development.
