Infrastructure on electricity supply is an important factor for infrastructure structure. Could you tell about local plan of the electricity supply infrastructure in the coming time?
The provincial department of Trade and Industry has set out a plan on electricity supply infrastructure development, contributing to form up the provincial system of socio-economic infrastructure structure, meeting requirement of sustainable and rapid development in line with the local trend of industrialization and modernization and urbanization.
Under this plan, the department will chair implementation of this plan in the period of 2011-2015. The 2011-2015 period’s goal is to develop electric infrastructure system, meeting local demand on production, business and livelihood, to strive to reach 99.5% of rate of local households using electricity, to implement underground system of electricity.
In the period of 2016-2020, the department strives to win over 99.5% of rate of local households using electricity and so on.
Industrial compounds in Binh Duong remain many shortcomings. What issues the plan on infrastructure development at industrial compounds will focus on, sir?
The provincial department of Trade and Industry asked its divisions of Finance and Plan and Industrial Management to cooperate with relevant agencies, People’s Committee at all levels to launch effectively planning on provincial industrial compound development till 2020 and preferential policies for industrial compounds’ investors and businesses.
The concrete goal of the 2012-2015 period plan is to urge investments in 2 industrial compounds of building material and farm produce processing in Phu Giao and Dau Tieng districts; and simultaneously to spur process of launching industrial compound projects ratified by the provincial People’s Committee.
The provincial trade-service field’s development has yet to match with industrial development. What plans the provincial administration will set out to spur development of trade-service infrastructure?
In order to implement plan on trade-service development on industrialization and modernization, it is necessary to launch an effective implementation of the provincial planning on trade development till 2020 and vision 2030 ratified by the provincial People’s Committee on Decision No.4020/QD-UBND dated Dec. 23, 2011 and the provincial Planning on market, supermarket and trade center development till 2020 approved by the provincial People’s Committee on Decision No.4141/QD-UBND dated Dec. 30, 2011.
Accordingly, the provincial administration continues upgrading and investing newly in trade centers, supermarkets, markets, improving management and order arrangement of trading at trade centers, markets, especially Thu Dau Mot market in a bid to ensure civilized and modern business. Till 2020, the locality will strive to finish 85-90% of trade infrastructure facilities, including 122 markets, 24 supermarkets and 37 trade centers.
The department mapped also out a plan on logistics service development for the period of 2011-2015.
In addition, the department in cooperation with other departments and relevant agencies implements the goal of e-trade system development. In the period of 2012-2015, the locality will build and apply a project of “applying IT at the department to develop e-trade”; continue improving quality of e-information portal and so on for the sake of effective service for businesses.
In the period of 2016-2020, the locality will upgrade infrastructure projects in conformity with the provincial socio-economic development.
