As a locality with difficulties, Tan Lap commune in Tan Uyen district has made efforts in the national target program of new rural construction. The commune has so far fulfilled 11 out of 19 criteria of new rural construction.
Tan Lap is an
agricultural commune with more than 92% of farm land for rubber growing
estimated at more than 1,400 hectares. This is also a strong point of the local
economy. So far, Tan Lap commune has developed 18 farmsteads, in which many farmsteads
with combination between cultivation and animal husbandry have brought
hi-economic efficiency. 
Tan Lap commune’s traffic system continues being upgraded
Rubber trees and farmsteads in Tan Lap commune are on stable development and makes great contributions to the local process of new rural construction. As planned, the commune will fulfill its new rural construction program by 2015. The commune has so far met 11 out of 19 criteria of new rural construction. The figure has obviously expressed the local government and people’s determination in implementation of the new rural construction program.
To achieve the above results, Tan Lap commune has realized many national target programs in association with new rural construction. Nguyen Thi An Kim, Chairwoman of Tan Lap commune’s People’s Committee said that the above results have also come from high determination and consensus between the local government and people. Despite difficulties, the commune has gained initial results in new rural construction.
Thanks to propaganda work well implemented, Tan Lap commune has met some hard criteria of new rural construction, including those of income, culture, the ratio of laborers with regular jobs…Tran Minh Hai, an agricultural staff of the commune said that the communal Party Committee and People’s Committee have attached special importance to propaganda work in new rural construction, helping the commune reach the above criteria.
Apart from results done, Tan Lap commune has still faced some certain hurdles in the process of new rural construction. To Mrs.Kim, with consensus and high determination, Tan Lap commune’s government and people will overcome hurdles to successfully implement the local program on new rural construction in the coming time. Propaganda work is seen as a key task for implementation of the local new rural construction program. This is also a strong point to be further upheld by the commune in the coming time.
