Tan Uyen town in the first half of 2016 had a total of 67 domestic businesses granted investment licenses by provincial People’s Committee, up 46 compared to last year’s same period, with a total registered capital of more than VND1.03trillion. Thus, the town has so far absorbed 702 domestic businesses licensed to operate with a total registered capital of more than VND8.52trillion. Among them, 488 have operated, 49 under construction, 122 under construction procedures and 43 stopping operation.
Also during the period, the town lured 75 licensed FDI businesses, up 16 against last year’s same period with a total registered capital of US$483.5million. The figure has brought the total number of licensed FDI projects herein so far to 442 with a total registered capital of more than US$2.87million. Among them, 253 have operated, 16 under construction, 146 under construction procedures and 27 stopping operation.
In addition, the district’s People’s Committee has granted business licenses to 835 individual business households in many scopes with a total investment capital of around VND344.88billion, up 67.61% over last year’s same period.
