In the first six months of 2024, the city’s Urban Order Management Team, in coordination with the People's Committees of communes and wards, Inspection Team No. 5 under provincial Department of Construction, conducted inspection tours over 508 construction projects, marking a 9.4% increase compared to the same period in 2023. The relevant authorities advised Chairman of the city’s People's Committee on issuing administrative penalties for violations in 26 construction projects. The total fines collected for the State budget amounted to VND 602 million. Additionally, the People's Committees of the communes and wards issued administrative penalties for five construction projects, with nearly VND 210 million in fines collected for the State budget.
In the coming time, the city will continue effectively managing urban planning, publicly disclosing and disseminating construction and detailed planning projects within the city as well as procedures and regulations for obtaining construction permits, ensuring that residents are aware of and comply with them.
