The Executive Board of Tan Uyen district’s 10th Party Committee has just organized its 15th open conference to review the result of the implementation of the local targets on socio-economic development, national defence-security in 2013 and define orientations, tasks for 2014.
The district’s socio-economic performance in 2013 continued reaching positive changes, Particularly, the district’s economic growth achieved 12.8%; the average income per capita was VND37.5mln a year, up 5.7%. The district also absorbed additional 89 investment projects with a total investment capital of more than VND437mln, up 30 in the number of projects and more than VND202mln in the amount of capital compared to 2012. Among them, there were 12 FDI projects with a total investment capital of nearly US$14mln.
