Tan Uyen Town Innovation and Collective Economic Development Steering Committee held a training course of collective economy in 2016. More than 100 members of the Steering Committee and its subordinates; heads and deputy heads of hamlets, quarters; mass organizations; cadres of cooperative groups, clubs, farm-holders, farmers took part in the training.
At the training session, participants learned some key contents of collective economic situation analysis; the 5th provincial Cooperative Alliance Party Resolution (2016-2020 tenure) and Collective Economic Development Fund.
At present, the town has 16 cooperatives with 528 members and 479 regular workers, including 4 agricultural cooperatives, 7 trade - service cooperatives, 3 transport - construction cooperatives, 2 handicraft cooperatives… In addition, the town has 18 cooperative groups mainly specialized in poultry slaughtering, rubber latex collection, breeding, pomelo and safe vegetables. In general, cooperatives and cooperative groups have operated efficiently and achieved good results.
