Tan Uyen town’s People’s Committee has just convened its 4th session to approve a report on the local socio-economic development, national defense-security in the first 9 months of 2016 and implement tasks for the rest of the year.
Over the past 9 months, the town’s industrial production-construction value gained more than VND11.97trillion, up 12.44% compared to last year’s same period; trade-service value at more than VND4.67trillion, up 18.96% against last year’s same period; agro-forestry and fishery production value at more than VND416.7billion, up 1.12% over last year’s same period.
The town also reached more than VND881.42billion on State budget collection or 105% of the yearly plan; gave vocational training for 138 rural laborers and demobees; introduced jobs to 10,893 laborers. Besides, the town spent VND10.5billion on taking care of social policy beneficiaries, mobilized and presented 1,344 gifts worth VND389.8million to needy cases, built and upgraded 2 gratitude houses and 16 “great unity” ones with a total value of VND1.057billion and well maintained political security and social order.
For the rest of the year, the town will further absorb, arrange investment projects in line with the local orientations for urban development and regulations on investment attraction; tighten control over market; seriously handle infringements on the transport and trade of fake and poor-quality commodities; maintain political security and social order…
On this occasion, 2 collectives leading emulation movements of the town in 2015 were awarded the certificates of merit of provincial People’s Committee Chairman; 6 collectives and 18 individuals with excellent performance in 2015 presented the certificates of merit; 11 collectives winning the “excellent collective” title 2015 and 4 individuals with the “emulation soldier” title 2015.
