According to a report by provincial Tax Department, in the first 8 months of 2023, the province’s tax sector collected and paid nearly VND30trillion for State budget, reaching 66.1% of the estimate assigned by the Ministry of Finance, or 62.7% of the estimate of provincial People's Council, or 98.5% over the same period. The total revenue, excluding the lottery sector and revenue from land use, was nearly VND23.666 trillion, or 62.5% of the estimate of the Ministry of Finance, or 60.4% of the plan assigned by provincial People's Council, or 99.6% compared to the same period.
Currently, the province’s tax sector is promoting digital transformation, administrative reform and improving the quality of business support transparently and effectively, strictly making tax management and stepping up inspection and supervision of tax declarations to achieve the local State budget revenue under the plan in 2023.
