Late June 19, TDM city’s People’s Committee held a conference to approve the report of the local socio-economic performance, national defence-security in the first half of 2014 and implement key tasks, orientations in Q3 2014.
TDM city’s economy in the first half of the year maintained a growth. Particularly, total value of trade and services reached VND22.264trillion, up more than 30.6% compared to last year’s same period or 44.3% of the year’s plan. Industrial production value continued gaining a strong growth with nearly VND5.127trillion or 42.5% of the year’s plan, up 13% compared to last year’s same period. State budget collection obtained VND892.961bln, up 6.52% against last year’s same period or 47% of the target set out by the province.
The city also attached special importance to implementing the National Target Programs on education, health, hunger eradication-poverty reduction…In Q3 2014, the city will further promote compensation and site clearance, construction of key works, including the way to provincial Integrated Administration Center, My Phuoc-Tan Van expressway, DT741 street…
