Early October 11, the Executive Board of the 11th TDM city’s Party Committee forwarded its open conference to review the local socio-economic, political situation, national defence and security over the past nine months, implement tasks for the remaining 3 months of 2017.
Reportedly, the city’s Party Committee over the past nine months focused on directing the good implementation of Party building, strategic schemes and plans, including a scheme on “building cultural lifestyle-urban civilization” for the period of 2016-2020. There were many active changes in carrying out plans on socio-economic development, public management and investment, administrative reform, urban development and investment. The city’s economy continued maintaining growth with total retail sales revenue of commodities and services reaching nearly VND77trillion, up 25.5% compared to the same period or 80% of the year’s plan; total industrial production value of VND17.4trillion, up 13% against the same period or 79% of the year’s plan.
From now till year-end, TDM city will continue implementing the Government’s Resolution No.01/NQ-CP on major tasks and solutions guiding the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the State budget plan for 2017.
