Early November 7, TDM city’s People’s Committee held a conference to approve the local report on socio-economic development, national defence-security in October and implement major orientations, tasks in November, 2017. Nguyen Loc Ha, Vice-Secretary of the city’s People’s Committee chaired the conference.
The city’s State budget collection last month was estimated at VND142billion and the figure over the past ten months was more than VND2.27trillion. The city also spent VND28billion on site clearance and compensation; strengthened a task of handling street markets; coordinated with the province’s agencies to successfully defend a scheme on recognition of TDM as a first-class city at an appraisal council chaired by the Ministry of Construction; teamed with the Bank for Social Policies to disburse VND5.55billion in loan…The city’s political security, social order and safety were also maintained.
From now till year-end, the city will continue well preparing contents for the year-end session of the local People’s Council; outline a plan ensuring environmental hygiene and urban order to welcome the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2018 and a ceremony recognizing TDM as a first-class city; hasten the progress of construction of main works, further carry out programs, plans and projects on urban development…
