Over the past 7 months of 2022, Thu Dau Mot city will continue maintaining and developing collective economic models with high economic efficiency.
It is known that the city is now home to 43 cooperatives with 5,060 members, total capital of over VND 183.2 billion. There are also 2 cooperative branches and 1 business location of the cooperative. In terms of business scopes, there are 4 People's Credit Funds, 15 transport cooperatives, 5 agricultural cooperatives, 10 environmental cooperatives, 3 construction cooperatives, 3 trade-service cooperatives and 3 home industrial cooperatives.
In general, cooperatives have created a pervasive effect, raising people's awareness of the new-style cooperative model. Some agricultural cooperatives with hi-tech application have made a large amount of products, increasing income for farmers, actively contributing to the local socio-economic development in the current period.
