Improving trade-service quality
Nguyen Trong An, Vice-Chairman of TDM city’s People’s Committee said that the city’s trade-service activities have obtained fast development in recent years. The city’s growth of service production value for the period of 2015-2017 reached 27.73%. Along with objective elements, this result came from the timely and effective instruction of authorities at all levels of the city. Particularly, the city created favorable conditions for organizations and individuals to invest in the local trade-service field.
However, the city’s trade-service sector has not been in line with the development of a first-class city. It is known that 2018 is the first year TDM has implemented political tasks of a first-class city. In the current situation, the city has set a target of boosting economic development, making the shift of economic structure with focus on trade-service sector.
In the coming time, the city will further mobilize resources to make investment in plazas, supermarkets, markets, recreational areas…The city will also create the best advantageous conditions for investors in the trade-service field to work; encourage locals to get involved in this field, especially hi-tech services, aiming to well satisfy the society’s demand and be in line with the scale of a first-class city.
