TBS Logistics is established by Thai Binh Shoes Group. With breakthrough in thinking and action, TBS Group has decided to invest over VND300bil in building ICD port at Binh Duong. This breakthrough has created a very significant milestone for TBS trademark’s development of logistics industry, contributing greatly to the local and Southern key economic zone’s development.
Over the past 5 years, TBS Logistics has created impressive results. In March 2009, TBS Logistics’ first bonded ware house on an area of 21,000sqm was put into operation under cooperation with APL Corporation. After that, TBS Logistics has kept expanding its area to improve service quality.
In 2011, TBS Logistics’ 23 ha were covered by 4 warehouses, offering service of goods depots for fields of footwear, bag, container transport and so on. With 20 electric-powered forklift trucks and advanced shelf system, clients can maximize area.
Pham Van Xo, director of TBS Logistics, said “With the number of customs clearance commodity of over 50,000 TEU container and big partners such as DAMCO, NYK and so on, TBS Logistics has contributed to spur goods circulation process as well as decrease cost of logistics for businesses. Additionally, TBS Logistics has paid about VND450bil in tax to the State budget”.
Affirming trademark
With the purpose of sustainable growth, TBS Logistics has kept modernizing equipment, technology and professionalizing human resources. Accordingly, the entire manpower of TBS Logistics has been trained by experts. In addition, TBS Logistics has invested in WMS system to manage goods.
Though TBS Logistics has reached many achievements, it remains many challenges. Xo said “Joining in logistics industry, TBS Logistics has yet to have many experiences, so winning cooperation from clients is a big challenge for TBS Logistics”.
Facing with these challenges, TBS Logistics has gradually perfected management system to affirm its trademark and prestige. In 2013, TBS Logistics decides to expand its logistics area up to more than 50ha for the sake of satisfying clients’ demand.
