In recent two years, Tan Uyen town’s Thanh Phuoc ward has made strong changes with streets upgraded, shops and eateries looming large…, showing the prosper of a land that was agricultural in the past.
Huynh Ngoc Binh, Vice-Chairman of Thanh Phuoc ward’s People’s Committee said that the ward over the past time made efforts in trade-services development. Particularly, the ward’s People’s Committee strengthened administrative reform, absorbing investment projects. The ward also ensured the local order and security, helping enterprises feel secure in order to work and expand their production and business; tightened control over the trade of fake, banner goods…Thanks to the above-mentioned efforts, the ward’s economic structure has been shifted towards the growth of industry, trade-services and decrease of agriculture at the development goal of Tan Uyen town.
The whole ward is now home to 400 business households in trade-services and 2 traditional markets, namely Tan Luong and Du Khanh. In 2016, the ward’s total production value reached 102.6% of the year’s plan; total trade-service revenue at 102% compared to the year’s plan; average income per capita at VND41million.
With a goal of shifting the local economic structure towards industry, trade-services and agriculture, Thanh Phuoc ward is focusing on well realizing 2017’s major tasks, including increasing the proportion of industry and trade-services by 2% and 3%, respectively, decreasing the proportion of agriculture by 2%; reaching the average income per capital of VND42million…
The ward now accelerates the progress of construction of infrastructure facilities as planned; continues creating the best conditions for enterprises and locals to work and expand their production and business. In addition, the ward will effectively carry out site clearance; coordinate with units to hasten the progress of construction of rural traffic works as planned at enterprises and locals’ demand for traveling and goods transportation…
It is known that the ward in the first three months of 2017 continued making inspection tours of shops at Tan Luong and Du Khanh markets. The inspection result showed that many well obeyed regulations on trade. The ward’s People’s Committee also made the organization of signing commitments not trading in fake, banned goods…among 27 business facilities. The ward also carried out inspection on food safety and hygiene at 54 business facilities…
