Morning Oct 13th, provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held a solemn ceremony to inaugurate My Phuoc - Tan Van route’s 1st stage (from DT-741 road to An Phu six-way intersection) and groundbreaking of DT-743 road expansion (from Mieu Ong Cu to Song Than overpass). Attendants of the ceremony consisted of Mai The Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Tran Van Nam, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; and heads of agencies, sectors, localities in the province.
The project My Phuoc - Tan Van from Bau Bang to Highway 1A crossing large industrial parks in 5 localities of Bau Bang, Ben Cat, TDM, Thuan An and Di An. The route has a length of 62km, is designed with urban road standard, speed of 80km/hour, cross section of 32m, 6 lanes (especially the distance from DT-741 to Bau Bang industrial park has cross section of 62m, 10 lanes), adequate surface water drainage system, and green space. The project has a total investment of VND4,300 billion. In the 1st stage, My Phuoc - Tan Van route (from DT-741 road to An Phu six-way intersection) has a length of 16km with a total investment of over VND825.6 billion and 6 lanes.

The project of DT-743 road expansion from Mieu Ong Cu to Song Than overpass has a total length 12,3km and 6 lanes. The project has a total investment of VND1,329 billion, and 2 stages including the 1st stage with 7 km long from Tan Dong Hiep park to Song Than overpass; the 2nd stage from Mieu Ong Cu to Tan Dong Hiep park junction and overpasses at An Phu six-way intersection, 550 intersection, and Song Than intersection.
Speaking at the ceremony, PPC’s Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Liem stressed, while Highway 13 served the development of industrial zones, urban and service areas, My Phuoc - Tan Van route was the arterial road for import and export good transportation of the province, and in the future would be the route for transporting agricultural and forestry products to the West, Southeast and Central Highlands. The groundbreaking of DT743 road expansion will facilitate good transportation, contributing to provincial socio-economic development.
