Industrial parks plenty
Since its establishment, Bau Bang district has planned important items in the area to create a new breakthrough, in which, the first and most important project is Bau Bang urban-industrial park on a total area of more than 2,100 hectares (expanded by nearly 1,000 hectares) formed in 2016. Along with that, Bau Bang district is interested in promoting infrastructure investment contributing to the achievement of urban upgrading criteria, and at the same time, to improving the business investment environment and supporting business development. Up to now, Bau Bang Industrial Park and Urban Area has been invested by Becamex IDC to be built synchronously with complete infrastructure, creating a strong development momentum for Bau Bang to soon become a major industrial center of Binh Duong.
According to the leader of the People's Committee of Bau Bang district, up to now, Bau Bang district has formed many industrial parks with a total planned area of thousands of hectares. Currently, in Bau Bang district, the industrial parks of Bau Bang, Cay Truong, Lai Hung and Tan Binh have been completed and put into operation. The activities of industrial parks have contributed positively to the economic development of the district with the average annual growth of industrial production value starting at 20%. Business activities in industrial parks contribute significantly to GRDP for the province, and also create many jobs not only locally but also externally from other provinces.
To meet the needs of synchronous development of the district, Bau Bang has been promoting the completion of the social infrastructure network with a series of public investment projects in schools, medical facilities, and important administrative works. In such connection, Bau Bang mobilized many resources to implement projects of commercial housing, housing for workers, well meeting the demand for stable accommodation for workers, and well serving the needs of local industrial development.

It can be said that Bau Bang has planned and built industrial parks with very convenient traffic locations, creating a fundamental change in attracting investment, concentrating resources, and exploiting available potentials for development of advantageous industrial products.
According to the leader of Bau Bang district, in the coming time, the district's orientation to attract foreign investment (FDI) will focus on high-tech industries, new and advanced technologies, and environmentally friendly technologies. Along with that, Tan Binh Industrial Park (Phase 2) is invested in the direction of industry - urban - service, which will meet actual needs and synchronize the system of technical and social infrastructure, improve operational efficiency, and link industrial park development with local urbanization process in line with the goal of becoming one of the industrial - urban - northern centers of the province.
The investment in expanding Tan Binh industrial park and developing many other industrial parks is both a long-term strategic direction, bringing economic value to the locality and in line with the orientation of shifting industrial production industries to the north of the province or in line with the orientation of economic restructuring towards industry and service, creating a premise to accelerate the industrialization and urbanization of the province. At the same time, the investment in the construction of industrial parks in the area will attract domestic and foreign investment capital and create infrastructure to stimulate the development of industries such as trade, services and urban development as well as jobs and the better living standards of workers, contributing to the socio-economic development of the district.
According to Vo Thanh Giau, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bau Bang district, with the goal of building Bau Bang district soon to become an industrial-urban center in the north, the province has planned a science and technology industrial park in the area. Along with that, the district has planned and built industrial parks with very convenient traffic locations, creating a fundamental change in attracting investment, concentrating resources, exploiting available potentials for development of industrial products of advantages. The complete infrastructure system and the attraction of FDI capital flows are motivating the whole district to dive in sustainable development in the direction of a smart, civilized and modern city, creating a foundation towards the goal of 2030 to become the center of modern industry and the nucleus in the innovation region of the province.
