Binh Duong Production, Import and Export one-member Co. Ltd. formerly named Song Be Rubber production 3-2 (February 3rd) is now known as PROTRADE or a common name of 3-2 Company (February 3rd Company) – a leading name in Binh Duong Province regarding expansion and line diversifying. The company is also known for best labor policies.
By unity, officers and staffs of the company have overcome difficulties to earn revenue of VND 1,413 billion or 111.4% of the year plan in 2011. Up to date, the company has 9 member units with competitive production lines.
Ever since 1994, the company has expanded its business by joining with foreign counterparts. The first Vietnamese international-standard golf court – Song Be Palm Golf, was a success to the company. In 1995 the joint venture with FrieslandCampina (Dutch Lady) was established to offer 1.5 billion milk packs a year under familiar brand names of Dutch Lady, Friso, Fristi, and Yomost. This joint venture has created 15,000 jobs to Vietnamese people.
Then, by the end of 2007, the company extended its business by cooperation with Ascendas – Asia's leading provider of business space solutions, to construct AP Singapore Tech Park covering 500 hectares in Ben Cat District at the cost of about USD 100 million. The project offers jobs to over 40,000 people.
Beside business activities in joint ventures, the company also reached for real estate fields by owning projects such as apartments, commercial, entertaining zones, racing court, and golf court of 564 hectares. The company also helped to build infrastructure of Tan Dong Hiep Industrial Park, residential and resettlement areas in Binh Hoa, Thuan An and An Tay Services Industrial Park. As for education and healthcare fields, the company has invested into Hanh Phuc Women and Children Hospital – the first 5-star hotel hospital in Vietnam.
Together with business and production expansion, the company has implement payroll policies and cares for its staffs. Currently, the company has 3,605 employees with average income per capita of VND 5,200,000 a month. Thus, the staffs are encouraged to promote unity and creativity.
The company also adjusts regulations and policies involving benefits and income of the staffs. Annually, the company supports employees with gifts and tours and calls for donation to those who are in difficulties. In 2011, its subsidiary company has offered 6 charity houses to employees in difficulties.
